Sex addict story explained!
I found something interesting one day. Wii Fit accident made me a sex addict: U.K. woman. When I read that title I paused for a moment, trying to imagine how exactly this accident could have happened. The Wii Fit is a piece of flat plastic that sits on your floor with you standing on it, how could this transform someone into a sex addict?

Cosplay; An emerging subculture
Cosplay has always been in the underbelly of every city, but recently it has been becoming more socially acceptable. The major way that cosplay is being popularized is by the recent rise of nerd culture, which is allowing the general acceptance of this hobby. This acceptance has led to a dramatic increase in conventions and competitions showing up around North America.

Watchmen: Motion Comic
As some of you know, Alan Moore's Watchmen is my all time favorite graphic novel. The characters, the realism, it's just too much for mere words to describe the greatness that this novel contains. Time Magazine thought so too and put it on their ALL TIME 100 novels. It's rubbing elbows with The Great Gatsby and 1984. And I swear if you read one comic in your lifetime YOU MUST READ THIS. No jokes, it's mind altering.

Halo Legends Review
Anime and videogames has always been pretty synonymous. But how well exactly does FPS powerhouse Halo adapt to this medium change?

Machine Girl
There’s much to be said about Noboru Ignuchi's Machine Girl; possibly one of the best Japanese shock/gore flicks. The film was released in May of 2008 and has since astonished nerds, internet addicts, and Japanese film lovers all over the world.

Bioshock 2
Let me spin you a tale of a lack of foresight, a bet, and how I scored the collectors edition of this game for freesies. It was January 2009, after a workout at the local gym Tyler Cote and myself would rest our tired muscles in the hot tub. At this time Bioshock 2 had been announced for fall 2009 and we discussed how much the first one rocked. Then came the topic of what this one would be like. I believed that the game would have to take place back in Rapture, why would 2K Games get rid of the best world that video gaming has ever seen? Tyler looked at the issue in a chronological way and claimed that the story does not support a return to the city because it simply does not make sense. We both argued for a while and became irritated at each other belei-knowing that our case was the strongest. So a wager was created. If BS2 was indeed not in Rapture, then I would have to buy Tyler a copy of the special edition of the game. If it did take place back in the infamous city, then I would get the prize. As you can figure out, I won the bet and await my payment.

Mass Effect 2
The most anticipated game of E3 finally dropped last Tuesday and gamers scrambled their way to stores. The second title of the award winning series was hinted at betrayal, romance, and enough plot twists to rival Namco's Project: Breakdown. (If you haven't played that game, DO IT. It's fucked up amazing) I wanted to enjoy this game so much I put myself into a media blackout. Any ad, article or trailer that came by I would immediately cover my eyes and ears. I did not want any spoilers to ruin this and my efforts paid off.

Batman: No Man's Land
Last week a friend informs me that he saw a legitimate comic book store somewhere in downtown St. Catharine's. With giddiness we skip down the sidewalk and find our sanctuary of nerdom. With seperate objectives in mind, we split up and begin the hunt. Mon ami searches for Alan Moore's "The Killing Joke", while I scan the shelves for a different story of the Batman universe. It came to my understanding that the sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum will be based much on this series. I wanted to know why. As I read It becomes quite apparent that this series is MADE for a sandbox game.
