Left 4 Dead 2 Demo Impressions by Tyler

As of roughly noon today the Left 4 Dead 2 demo hit Xbox Live, giving gamers a taste of what the latest Valve shooter had to offer.

As an avid zombie lover, I eagerly queued it up for download. These are my impressions.

GOLDENEYE COMING TO Wii maybe Ps3/360

This is it everyone, the time we have all been waiting for one of the greatest games of all time is coming to the Wii and possibly the 360 and PS3. Earlier this year Activision leaked the news that they planned to release a new James Bond game in 2010. After the leaked information nothing else was heard about it until now!

According to the CV(resume) of an animator at Eurocom Entertainment Software named Craig Peck a new Goldeneye game is being developed for the Wii gamezine.co got a hold of Peck's CV and it says:"Eurocom Entertainment Software, Derby, United Kingdom: July 09 – Sept 09 Animator – GoldenEye 2010 (Wii) - Animator on Activision’s James Bond series for the Nintendo Wii”

When more information is released I will post it here but for now Goldeneye fan can rejoice and have something to look forward to

Modern Warfare 2 360 Bundle

As you probably know, a new special edition Xbox 360 has been released in the spirit of gearing up for the release of Modern Warfare 2.

BEHOLD!

As well as a decked out case with scribble THAT ACTUALLY IS MILITARY CODE it will include two controllers, a headset, and a special edition copy of the highly anticipated game. But is this worth 400 whopping dollars American? Well, there is another thing. A 250GB hard drive. This is a great value considering a 120GB drive costs half of the bundle. But to someone like myself who has had a 20GB drive and has never filled it up, it just might be not worth getting. But 360's have been cursed with a short lifespan, so any gamer who has buried their console recently and has a genuine interest in MF2 (or at least someone who calls them self a gamer) and a need for a absurd amount of space should take advantage of the bundle and pick it up.

Halo 3: ODST

Before I begin with my review I should inform you on how I got my copy of the highly anticipated game.

Its September 21, 10:30pm. I call up a good friend and ask him if he would like to pick me up for the midnight launch. He abruptly tells me that he cannot go, and so my only chance of a ride falls into shambles. Fearing I would end up last in line and have to wait until dawn before getting my copy I quickly begin walking down to the local mall. In case you don't know I am fairly heavy person. Yes I am fat. So walking 40 minutes straight wouldn't be something I would usually do. But it's video games. Anyways I arrive at the mall with enough sweat to fill a pitcher and promptly try to get in. A friendly old man opens the door as I explain my reasons for being there so late. Unsure, he calls down security and they ask me the same questions. I tell them I am here for the midnight launch of a video game at EB Games. They tell me there is no such event and that EB Games is closed until tomorrow. Now, I am pissed but refusing to walk back. I summon a cab and angrily go home. The next day I return to a now open mall to a now open EB Games and demand that they tell me why they would tell me about a midnight release of ODST when I pre-order the game, and then NOT have a midnight release. The clerk looks at me confusedly and says "......whut?" Rage settles in but I will not make a mockery of myself in such a populated area, too many witness to a clerk getting their jugular ripped out. I buy the thing I spent so much effort into I might as well have bled for and return home to relax and play ODST. Now! Onto the review,

Batman: Arkham Asylum Review

Dark clouds pour rain over Gotham city, lighting flashes angrily as the eternal storm of crime darkens every light in the city. Police cars zoom by and a CB radio crackles, "Batman is taking the Joker to Arkham Island." Then a single finned black car emerges from the shadows at a unnatural speed, YES! The old Batmobile is back! The music slowly builds up, and the dark tone that we know and love settles in.

This is Batman.
